Howard Yount: Affiliate thread - Page 293

And just to be fair to Jamison, he did agree to accept my exchange even though I was a few weeks beyond the 30-day return period.  So I suppose that is a plus so long as I eventually receive the exchange.

I have the exact same issue, I've been waiting on a response from Jamison for a good three months. It's frustrating - if I hadn't given him the benefit of the doubt, I could have done a chargeback through Visa as soon as my package was returned. At this point it's too late for them to deal with it, and all I can do is hope that he'll decide to answer my emails.

Jamison had been very helpful in the past, and green-lit an exchange even though I live in Canada. The fact that he ignored me only as soon as I needed to get my money back is all the more stark and aggravating. Does anybody know alternate ways to contact him - email, phone, anything? I'm going to be in NYC soon, I'm tempted to just knock on the door of the return address and see if I can't get an answer.

Just wanted to report on another outstanding transaction with Jamison. Probably my 10th. I needed the pointed black knit and a new white linen square for a wedding urgently. After purchasing I sent Jamison a quick note to advise of the situation. Package shipped that night and arrived in Canada in 6 days with plenty of time for the wedding.

As usual products are great.

Yep. I sent a return and it has still not been claimed by HY. Also, had no luck getting them to respond to follow up e-mails.

This sadly is troubling and makes me weary of placing an order for some things I very much have been wanting.

Look if the order fits and you are happy with them - meaning you don't need to return then you are fine.

Nice guy, but something must be done about the approach to order fulfillment. Hiring staff may not be in the offing, but in that case maybe a disclaimer needs to appear on the order page that says "I am a sole owner-operator, expect delays."

I'm just not really sure what I can do at this point to either get my money back or get him to send the exchanged pants.  He at least claimed the package, but now there is radio silence on his end.  Any ideas?

Does anyone have pictures of the beige linen trousers irl, either the D-ring or the belt-looped version? I like the texture of the latter but the D-ring of the former...

I am also having issues with Howard Yount. Ordered some pants, lovely material but too small. Sent them back but the package was returned to me as it was unclaimed on his end. No email responses from Jamison.

You guys are a lot more patient than me... I'm going to call my credit card company today. This is not a trivial amount of money that I can just afford to have disappear. Even a simple email saying, "Sorry, let me get back to you" would be good enough right now.

This is true. If my order had fit I would have been very happy. If there is a problem with the order however, you are potentially screwed. I tried to return my pants in March and here we are 2 months later and I haven't heard a peep from Jamison.

why do people buy from these shops that are non-responsive over and over again?
