100% agree.

And we're not even related.

I mean I'm not related to either Jamison or AppleFarmer.

While I personally have not had any issues in my transactions with Jamison, he is really hosing himself. These complaints about communication do not go unnoticed.

communication is extremely important in an online transaction (or really any transaction). Most people will forgive any number of evils (late shipping, out of stock items, delayed return credits, etc) if the business communicates openly and honestly.

If this lack of communication continues, he will see business fall off.

I like my two sweaters from HY very much.  Great quality for the price and quick turnaround.

Perhaps Jamison should get himself an intern from FIT?  There must be many young folks dying to get into the fashion industry in NYC....

Don't know about the lambswool, but I did some Googling of the codes that were on the tags of the cashmere and cotton sweaters.  I don't remember the specifics (I posted them a while ago somewhere deep in this thread) but I am 99% confident that the cashmere and cotton sweaters with two tags (like this one) are made by William Lockie and the ones with a single tag (like this one) are Lyle & Scott.

The lambswool measurements are different from the cashmere and cotton (sizes increase in 3" chest increments instead of 2") so it is possible that there is a 3rd maker for those.

Likve some other posters, I've found the majority of the website inoperative (for example, if I click "pants", I get a subheading "pants" and nothing below it).

However, I was able to get the website to largely work by using the search (e.g. click the "magnifying glass" icon in the top right of the page, and type "pants" in the search box).

What browser are you using? I have not had problems using Firefox... Maybe try compatibility mode or something like that?

Using firefox 13.0.1. I see html in "view source" so looks like the browser doesn't like the website.

I am able to browse the site with google chrome.

Anybody having shipping issues? Ordered something on December 18th and it still has not arrived. Getting pretty fucking worried.

Some people take off at this time of year...

My recent order arrived no problem, and the pants are awesome.

Most online merchants do not. At least not beginning on the 18th. They try to get out as many xmas orders as possible.

Plus it's not like this merchant has existed sans delays or communication issues.

I do love HY but your reply was essentially incorrect snark.
