I had two suits in my cart yesterday and I didn't pull the trigger... they are now gone. Heartbreak.

Could just try to sell it on B&S here and make back most of what you paid.

I buy the correct waist size in pants for both and they are both too small for me (one tighter than the other) but there has never been an issue having them let out. There seems to be a fair bit of material to work with. Take it to a seamstress/tailor, you should have no problems.

I have a couple of items to send back to HY, but still havent gotten a confirmation of the address. Should I keep waiting or just send them back to the return address on the box?

I was going to return a pair of khaki tropical wool Made in USA pants, size 32. Given the back up, would anyone prefer to just buy them from me? I can easily just return 'em, but it could be easier for everyone to just sell them directly.

Damnit, I need a 34!

Someone sell me a pair, didn't catch the site update in time.

Any chance of a restock? Jamison hasnt answered my inquiry

Also, are these USA pants made by Southwick?
I don't think they are made by Southwick. I was under the impression that they are made by whoever makes Epaulet's stuff though.

Regardless, they are super well made.

@Bmeliamb, if you were looking at the blue cotton-linen suit in 36, I'm returning one (or will attempt to) now... great color and fabric, but doesn't fit me (I'm closer to a 34).

I think they're made by Hertling, just as Epaulet's, Sid Mashburn's, and a few other Made In the USA places' pants are.

Do you guys usually size up in the HY sport coats? The chest allowances (2") seem really tight. As someone between sizes (39") i really wonder if I should go for the 38 or the 40?

I am a 38 or 40 depending on the brand, and went with the 40 in HY--and even that is a little smidge tight. Definitely go for the larger size if you are in between.
If in doubt, size up. Chest is very small, and the jackets are cut super short.

I normally wear a 38 these days but the SC from HY that I wanted was only available in a 40 and I gave it a try. It surprisingly fit well in the shoulders and chest, but I had the waist and hips chopped. I also slimmed the sleeves.

Same problem here along with a couple questions from me as well.

As posted by Jamison regarding returns, I've sent several emails requesting one over the last three weeks for 2 pair of pants. They're absolutely wonderful in quality!. Much better than I expected! Kudos to Jamison in that regard to be sure.

However, they are the Italian made ones and waaaaay too small to fit the equivalent American size.

(I'm a dead 38" American. The 38" Italian-made is an American 36".)

Heck I'd love to keep them and just have them let out, but there's not enough fabric to let them out two full inches.....bummer.)

Haven't heard a thing back from Jamison and it's now approaching his 30 day returns allowable window.

I suppose he can do what he likes in that regard, but it would have been nice to know on the front side if he doesn't really take returns..

At this point, I'm wondering if in fact he really does accept returns at all, or is it just rhetoric?

He seems like a nice enough fellow and sure brings in quality products from all the things I've read here, but I'm beginning to have doubts about returns.

Others thoughts/experiences?
