sweet!

Thanks for the info, now to just wait for a reply from them regarding size availbility.

Does anyone know why Jamison suggests so strongly against letting the waist out and recommends going up a size. Im afraid the seat will be too big in a size up for my skinny butt.

Jeffry Diduch (SF member jeffryd) just did a post on his blog about alterations to trousers that may be relevant.

I got some size 34 trousers in Linen and washed them prior to tailoring. They had to be let out ALL the way. The pockets are spread all the way out across the back, and it doesn't look right.

It's easier to take trousers in rather than out and still allow them to have proper balance (ie look right).

You can always order two sizes and try them on side-by-side and then return the one that doesn't fit...

Pretty sure that if it's on the site as available then it's in stock. Could be wrong though.

Seems like Jeffery'd recommends sticking with the size down if the seat fits?

Interesting, thanks. I actually already received them, leaning towards sizing up.

The Italian linen pants and socks came today. The pants are great and fit exactly like the Italian flannels I got for winter. The socks are very well made and VERY long. OTC should maybe be called OT Knee?

Any more of this available in size 40US?

Jacket arrived today. This awful picture is not showing the colors very well; they're much more vibrant in real life. The length is obviously a bit on the short side, which was expected from the measurements provided. Other than that, I'm very pleased with the fit. I'm not even sure I'll have the waist nipped; might only need to have the buttons sewn on and have it pressed. The fabric (Zegna superfine Australian tropical wool) is pretty amazing. Another great shopping experience from Howard Yount.

I pounced on the blue striped cashmere rugby. Incredible deal with the sale on. I just hope it fits...

Tropical wool USA pants are now up on the site. Already snagged a pair of the mid-gray in 32 nod[1].gif
