I wouldn't drop that much IMHO.

+1  It's basically a re-cut at that point.

Sadly for me, both the gray and brown Moon tweed are sold out in my size, 28! I have a pair of (I think) VBC super 100s winter flannel from you---it's a great fabric. I'm avoiding the Italian cut, though.

Yeah that's what I was afraid of. I would probably only have to take about 3" out of the waist given the measurements compared to the 32, but I still think that woulds be too much.

How much too tight are the seat and thigh? The trousers have an allowance to let them out, so the 32 might still work.

I do this for the same reason. My true waist is a 33" and I buy 36's and have them brought in so I still have about and inch of allowance in the waist so the back pockets arent too close together.. It works out just fine for me

Hi guys. Does anyone in Toronto/GTA have HY shoes?

^ I'm pretty sure nobody but HY carries HY products.

Just received my mid-gray lambswool pants and they are fantastic.  Can't wait to get them hemmed and wear them to the office, but this snowstorm in the northeast is putting a damper on my plans baldy[1].gif.  The handwritten thank you note was a nice touch, Jamison.  Cheers.

Correct! Just wanted to take a look in terms of sizing. I am usually a 9.5 and the double monks are only available in size 9 (which was recommended anyways) but I just wanted to make sure because returning the shoes would be extremely annoying. I am a 9.5 US in Sutors if that helps but I think I may just go for it.

I have the below double monks in black which are made on HY's "Italian" last. The 9.5 US is a perfect fit for me and I wear a 9.5US in most shoes including
Santoni, Magninni, & C&J (8.5UK).

Received my second order from HY, the American cut pants worked out great for me.  I was a little disappointed as I really liked the Light Gray Brushed Twill, but the Italian cut does not fit me well.  I also order 6 pairs of socks, both HY and Marcoliani and am impressed by both.

I see more pairs of HY pants in my future, thanks Jamison.

Just placed my first order. The Flannel Lambswool in mid-grey and the light grey super 120's (sized up 1 for the made it Italy). My plan was to hold out to the last week of the Barney's Warehouse Sale and hopefully find something nice (and nicely discounted) but after reading all the rave reviews I figured why leave it to chance and the super 120's were on sale now. I should add that after I placed my order I shot Jamison an email and then started this post. I see he has responded to my email before I finished the post.
