I just received my first order from HY. Was a small order (just a pocket square.) But I am very impressed with the quality of the square and the packaging it came in. I would have no problem ordering anything from him again. Thanks HY!

quick question... i've worn one of the wool sweaters from HY a few times and noticed some pilling where I rest my arms on arm rests in the office. is it normal to happen only after a few times of wear (granted, it was for a whole day in the office...)?

not a knock against HY sweaters, they look and feel great

I am really impressed with HY. I sent an email through the website because I had a question about the fabric on two different trousers and I got a response from Jamison in less than 10 minutes. I placed my order and received it a few of days later with a handwritten, personalized note, which I thought was really cool. To top it all off, they are now the best fitting trousers I own and the quality is amazing - now I have to go through the process of replacing my old ones. This might be the start of an addiction. I will be ordering again soon! Thank you!

How much milleage are owners seeing on the flannel trousers? I plan on wearing 1-2 times a week in an office environment and was wondering how long they'd be good for.

That's pretty much how in wearing mine, and have been for about a month now. Still too early to really evaluate longevity, but so far they seem to be no worse for wear.

Have had my navy Vic 100 flannels for over a year and wear about that much. Zero issues or noticeable wear. HY is tremendous value, rest asssured.

Quick story about how awesome Jamison is.

I was poking around his websight Friday night (21 December) and came across a sweater I had been eyeing. I put in in my basket, and decided to try a pair of the lambswool American cut trousers out too, so I put them in the shopping cart as well. I mulled a while, and decided to go for it, and placed my order.

Jamison was in his shop wrapping things up for the holiday, so amazingly I received an e-mail from him about ten minutes later. He was wrapping up the sweater for shippment, but due to a glitch in his system, he couldn't find the trousers. He refunded the cost of the trousers, and sent out the sweater within the hour.

My sweater was on my doorstep on Christmas Eve. I honestly did not expect something ordered on 21 Dec to ship until after the holidays, but once again, Jamison has exceeded my expectations.

Here's hoping he gets a small restock of the lambswool flannel in this winter!

OK, might be jumping the shark on this one a bit, but any idea when spring jackets will be coming? Planning out my clothing budget for the first part of the year smile.gif

Tell me about it. Have a fixed budget for this coming year though, so want to make sure I get the most out of it and don't blow it on impulse buys smile.gif

Yep me too I'm starting to think Spring/Summer now. Do you guys usually go with linen trousers for the summer or a light weight wool option?

I personally LOVE linen but some folks don't like the wrinkles.   I think I will go 70 - 30 linen to light wools for summer.

Picturing a white linen pant, light weight navy sc and a navy shirt... brown calf loafers, sans socks.  This look was done by a SF member last year and it was an epic summer vibe.
