Didn't get the rise, but waist was 33" measured outside through the belt-loops. My waist is still 31" flat.

Just joined SF, just recently ordered my first pair of HY.  Things are looking up.

However, does anyone happen to know the mailing address for a return?  The lambswool flannels I got are first rate, but too tight.  And I can't wait for an exchange if they are taking four months.

Thanks.  As good as these pants are, I sure hope everything comes together on the customer service end.  You're losing me and I actually love the product!  But getting flannel trousers just in time for spring...

Cheers.

This has taken so long that I am now out of country and won't be able to pick up anything from the post office for about 4 weeks. I hope this situation can be addressed.

What is it that you need done?

Check your PMs if you can - post here if you can't yet due to low post count smile.gif

Irish,

Why not just buy the next size off the web right now and then return the pants that don't fit? Jamison will not refuse to refund your money, and you won't be on his timetable for an exchange.

I wouldn't recommend this right now unless you can float the cost of the second pair of trousers for a month plus.

If you can't "float the cost" of pants for a month, then you probably shouldn't be buying the pants to begin with...

You do realize that I was referring to someone buying a second pair of pants in a second size while waiting for Jamison to issue a refund on the first? And regardless if one can afford it, a month plus wait for a refund just might be considered annoying.

A good idea.  This would've been the route to go.  As it turns out, the next size up has sold out since I bought the first pair.  So an exchange wouldn't have worked anyway.  Thanks.

Probably a dumb question but...

how do you pronounce Yount?
"Yownt"' as in "Shortstop Robin Yount is in the Baseball Hall of Fame".

At this point I'd rather not. All my prior experiences with Howard Yount have been pleasant, including a successful return a few months ago. I'm still hoping that this can be resolved in a way that will leave me feeling comfortable ordering from Howard Yount again.

looking for sizing assistance on Lambswool (crew or v-neck) fit...using BB Merino in S as base for comparison, should I go tts or size up? I prefer a trimmer fit but not too tight. Thanks in advance...

I'd recommend against sizing up. I have the HY lambswool in L and a BB Country Club cotton/silk v-neck in L. I haven't washed the HY yet, so maybe it will shrink, but the BB is much slimmer. I find fit to be TTS is arm and shoulders, but a little roomy in the mid-section.
