Hmmm? I guess I am a little confused... I do work in air conditioned offices, and many times will be in industrial freezers for hours at a time, which tend to run about 30 degrees below zero, and these seem to be a nice balance after I tested them in the freezers.  Maybe I am missing something here...?

The plot thickens...! Do I really want to know what job necessitates wearing dress pants in a freezer? cry.gif

The dress code in the modern abattoir certainly seems to be on the rise crazy.gif

Don't you have anything better to do? Seriously? Let the guy wear what's appropriate for him, jeez. Or just make some comments that are more useful, not your lame attempts at being witty.

Anyway, maverick, usually flannel is reserved for fall and winter, and linen and tropical wool for the summer, as you probably already know. You're in a tough bind as to what to wear since you have to go in to those freezers from time to time, so just do what's best for you. Maybe consider a change of pants for when you need to go into the freezers?

Nice stuff! I'm really, really enjoying the lambswool flannels that I bought - purple and mid grey. Definitely my favourite trousers.

He doesn't respond to emails but he does ship out orders on time.

In my past returns/exchanges I have sent Jamison an email with my initial order number as a heads up and waited for his confirmation email.

I've been waiting over three weeks for Jamison to respond to an email (sent via the contact link on his site). Sent another email in a little over two weeks ago and then within the past week also sent him a PM. Not really sure what to do at this point short of just mailing the item back to him and hoping for the best.

How do you measure the thigh? Size 36 is for example 13.25" - will it then be 26.50" around the thighs? Probably a stupid question, but just wants to make sure I don't do any stupid mistake before ordering.

I'm not sure who "Jamison" is, but he seems like the personification of a customer-focused operation.

If you read back over this thread for the past month, you'll see that Jamison is a) a real person who b) is running Howard Yount as a one-person operation and c) has been crazy swamped with various things (Sandy, illness). He is a top-notch fellow; I'm confident he'll honor your return if you contacted him within the regular window of opportunity. I'm not sure whether it would be better to wait until you can get a response or send them back with all the original order info inside the box, however.
