My question is that can I undo the cuff myself and make it lets say 1 3/4 or 2 inches? Perhaps this will make them the perfect length. I don't want to take them back for them to hem it again and have me pay more. Or should they be able to shorten them more without any additional cost?

That sucks. If it was their fault, a good tailor ought to re-do it without charging you.

You can do cuffs yourselves however, if you Google it there are lots of videos and sites that do it; the only warning is that it might take you a while.

I recently cuffed my HY trousers and it took a couple hours, because I wasn't sure what I was doing, but now it would take half the time. I also get pleasure out of doing these things on my own.

Silly question, i normally wear a size 32 in the trousers. If i go for size 30, whats the max amount that i can let out at the waist? 2Inches?
Thank you

I was able to let out just short of an inch on either side of the waistband on the 30, so I'd say maybe about 1.7 inches altogether.

I have a 37" chest, 31" waist, 18" shoulders, ~5'9", 155 lbs., would the XS or S crew neck sweater be better for me?

Based on the shoulders, I'd say S.  I just tried on both XS and S and the XS is a solid fit on me and my measurements are:

- 5' 8"

- 140 lbs

- 36" chest

- 30" waist

- 16.5 shoulders

Okay nevermind, I actually tried the trousers on very quickly the other day and I think I was wearing them too low (too used to wearing jeans I suppose) and that's probably why they seemed too long. I tried them on again today and the tailors did a perfect job I think.

I want the 'little break' look and I think they achieved that. I also let out about an inch in the waist. It's very comfortable in the waist now, the shirt is just sticking out in this picture as I took it very quickly; not tight at all in the waist.

Here are low quality pictures of me wearing them today, excuse the shirt and the fact I'm not wearing a belt. What do you think of the fit? I'm 24 and a slim guy so going for a slim fit but something that doesn't make me uncomfortable at work. This is the Italian fit by the way.

What's the verdict on the two VBC grades? 100s flannel vs 120s flannel?

I like the look and fit of those pants on you clarksdb. Did you have the tailor taper / alter the width or are they only hemmed? Which HY flannel pants are those?

Thanks. I only hemmed them along with letting out the waist. Didnt taper it or anything though. These are the VBC 120s navy:

I also have:

When I get the funds I am looking to add a light grey next.
