Anyways, first week of September is gone....any idea when wool trousers will be re-stocked?

In transit from Italy right now. I'm hoping to go live with some American made ones before they arrive! As early as this week. Just trying to time it at a point when we can quickly ship, rather than getting a big backlog.

We may carry some summer blazers in longs next summer, but likely only a blazer.

Working on it!

We don't have any plans to phase out Marcoliani right now, but I've been wanting to carry our own private label socks for a long time--really since we launched in 2008. It was a long slog to find the right manufacturing partner and the HY socks are something I'm really excited about. They compare well with the best socks made anywhere in the world.

I know it's probably too late for this, but if I wanted one pair of chinos for office wear, which one would it be? I'm basically looking for a "dressy" chino. Would it be these Cotton Chinos?

All made in Italy. They are really really nice, and I'm running them with a low margin. They "should" be much more expensive.

So, it looks like the mailer will be out sometime today for the first part of the fall collection....

One of my favorites:

Slight hold-up on the Scottish lambswool sweaters, so those won't be part of this first part of the collection.

Hi Jamison,

Could you post the fabric weight for the donegal trousers? Fall '12 offerings so far look great, by the way.

Cheers,
Harry

loving that there are size 40 trousers.

Jamison, please consider 56/40 suits too!

The new cashmere polo looks badass.

Jamison,

Are your Navy and Flannel Suits from China coming in your patch pocket configuration?

Also will they be sold as separates?

Thanks.

Thanks. Let me try to get it, since I don't have it in my notes.

I'll consider it. As anyone browsing the site has seen, we tend to sell out of the smaller sizes quickly. I have more larger everything than I would like, so have really limited what we make in large sizes.

Not just looks, is! These were crazy expensive to produce, but I wanted to do them so I did.

The navy and the light gray single breasted will both have three open patch pockets. So will all the three sport coats. The DB suit has flapped pockets.

No, I don't plan to sell them as separates but I ordered extra pants so customers can swap sizes if need be.

Ordered the cashmere blue windowpane jacket in size 38 versus my normal 36. With the 36 in blue linen, it had to be let out completely at the back and that's resulted in it being a bit threadbare along that seam. Hopefully this will work a bit better, will provide fit feedback to hopefully help others make a decision.

Will buy the green tweed suit once I confirm 38 fits... of course it is already sold out in 36 anyhow.

Regarding the Gray Blue twill jacket, is it more gray or blue? Just wondering whether I can pair these with solid mid-grey trousers.

Would love your thoughts on the cashmere blue windowpane jacket when you receive it. Color/Fabric feel etc.

Possible to see a photo of someone wearing it? It reminds me of the Cucinelli version, but yours has more cashmere and is harder core.
