FWIW, I fall between a 38R and 38L, and found the 38R worked well and was able to let out the sleeves about an inch (can't recall the exact amount at the alterationist, as my left and right arms are different lengths).

As far as the jacket's length, that's a different story if you need a longer length, but it's not a terrible amount of trouble to get the sleeves let out by your tailor or local alterationist.

I think it would be more of a sleeve length issue. I'm 6'1 with pretty average proportions for my height. I do like my jacket to be the more traditional length aka cover your butt but if it was a little higher I'd be ok with it. I just don't want it to stop slightly below the waist the way some of the trendy jackets are being made.

On the website it says that the shipping office will close on the 12th.

I need an umbrella for our current winter season here in Australia and Woud like you to confirm that if I ordered te umbrella today,
Which I guess will be the 10th in your time, that it will ship before your shop closes.

thanks.

If you order it today (8/10 in NYC), it will ship tomorrow (8/11). We're going to be open for a couple hours tomorrow to take care of a few things.

Thanks for the replies re umbrellas. Any plans to make solid shaft umbrellas in larger canopy sizes ie >42"?

Got my HY trousers back from the tailor and he pointed out several instances of this stitching appearing along the inseam along both sides, is this common?

A question to HY international customers: Have you had to pay customs taxes?

Good luck with the sale, but affiliate threads aren't the place to be advertising your B&S items, even if they are from the same company. You can put a direct link to B&S in your signature quite easily with the signature editor.

Action shot of the madras trousers from this summer. Also the white macrame belt but you cant really see that in the picture.

They wear super light and are great for warm times and warm rooms. Swing dancing in these trousers has been a bit of a trial by fire. Really sweaty fire.

I fully endorse the white shoes.

Back from vacation (http://howardyount.tumblr.com/post/29898465422/nantucket-2012) and catching up on orders. Plus, some new stuff coming soon.
