Anyone have the linen/silk pants? Are they less casual then the 100% linen, and do they wear as well in the hot weather?

I put in an order in right before coming to SF, where I saw this. By interim do you mean Aug 12-20, or anything up until the 21st? not a big deal if the package doesn't go out for 3 weeks but curious.

Last one sold out. We'll have more this fall. And we're stocking an XS of some sizes (limited production, though)

You could wear them just like linen. They're fantastic.

We're caught up on orders right now, so yours should have shipped already.

By this point, it's not a secret that we sell out of things. I would say you snooze you lose, but on this one, I guess you snooze you wait until fall delivery.

Fall 2012 is a bit of a secret. All I can say now is that we'll have seven styles of jackets (including a very nice fall blazer), nine suits (many of which can be broken up and worn separately), and five overcoats.

please say more about the overcoats!

This tasty treat showed up on my doorstep today.

Instant analysis after wearing the coat for 2 minutes....very soft fabric; drapes well. I feel like the color is just a touch darker than on the website, but that could be my bathroom lighting. The patch pockets are cool - not in your face.

For those of you looking at HY jackets and wondering about sizing, here's my take. I am 6'1", 155lbs, square shoulders, erect posture, 32 waist, I can wear a 38-40 jacket depending on the maker, usually more 38 than 40 these days now that I know about fit smile.gif. I have to slim down every jacket I've ever bought. HY was out of a 38 in this jacket so I rolled the dice with a 40. Shoulders, jacket length and sleeve length are great for me, chest was good, just need the few nips through the body. Highly recommend and will be buying more in the future.

Soon, I hope, on the umbrella. I was told end of July when I placed the order. We'll also have some the whangee handled English umbrella in some great colors.

Some of the umbrellas say ETA is 'Fall' now - is this just for a few? Are the english ones due in stock sometime soon?

Want to get my hands on one of these three

But all are sold out:(

Made first purchase from HY based on the great feedback from this thread and couldn't be more pleased with it. The fabric (tropical wool) felt fantastic, but the fit was just a bit off so I exchanged them. Jamison's customer service is positively sterling and made it a pleasure to shop with him. Keep up the great work!

They were due to be finished in England by the end of July, and I'm waiting for word on when they'll be done now. I hope to have them before the end of month. The last of these, however, the navy chestnut stick, is from our Italian maker and won't be here until September at the earliest. Italy in August....

Any idea of when more trousers will be in stock? I am looking for non summer-weight, gray trousers in 32, and all of them are sold out.

Should be end of the month, first week of September.

Does HY have any plans to offer jackets in a long? Jackets look great but I don't know if I could work with a 25" sleeve. I would not want to have to try and get the length extended.
