Here's me in the gunclub plaid from this weekend. A bit rumpled, since this was right out of a suitcase.

Howard,

Really want some moleskins for the Aus winter:

1. Will you be getting in any more moleskins soon? Specifically in the new US fit?

2. Would you be able to post the thigh measurements of the EU 52/EU 54 Moleskins (http://www.howardyount.com/collections/pants/products/cotton-moleskin-pants-navy)?

I wear a 33 Epaulet Rudy trouser, but get it heavily tapered after the thigh. The thigh measurement of an Epaulet Rudy is 13.25"

I'm considering buying an EU 52 or 54 Moleskin from your store so long as the thigh fits, and getting it altered in the waist/seat as necessary and from the knee down. Wondering if this might be too much to ask of my tailor though... Especially as I have noticed that the Moleskins don't appear to have a split waistband.

*edit*

found this in a post a while back - does this apply to the moleskins?

46 / 30 - 12 3/8"
48 / 32 - 13"
50 / 34 - 13 3/8"
52 / 36 - 13 5/8"

Hey guys,

I have some questions. How do the Yount's compare to Epaulet's Rivet Chinos size wise?

I bought 2 pair of the Epaulet's, but even after tailoring the seat and thighs were too tight still; the crotch even ended up letting go.

I really want a casual pant to supplement me jeans, and I'm trying to decide between the Yount beige canvas, Sid Mashburn butterscotch's, or waiting and doing the Epaulet Rudy preorder coming up.

Thanks for any advice; it'd be a huge help. I

I don't know about the Sid Mashburn stuff, but all the Epaulet stuff has full measurements listed on the site, and so does everything on the Howard Yount site, so you can compare them to determine which will fit you best (though only the newer Howard Yount trousers have the thigh measurement listed).

Yes, that's exactly what it is. On the tussah and garza silks. We're doing the same on some wool ties for fall and they're fantastic. Should be considerably less expensive. That garza is costly, but I think it's worth it. A great tie:

Yes. I stopped that a few years ago.

Now I just have stuff made.
