Jamison,
I don't recall if you've ever offered overcoats. It is surprisingly difficult, at least for me, to find nice basics at a reasonable price. Any plans in the offing?

I think my size 40 summer blazer might be a bit too small. Is there anyone here who picked up a 42 and would want to swap?

Jamison,

Any chance of a restock of Mid or Light Gray Tazmanian or Mid Gray Four Season Super 100s pants in size 32?

Just got my new sports jacket, sz 36 blue check, linen/wool. I love it! The cloth is so nice and refined yet really cool and lightweight. Can be easily dressed up or worn very casually. This will be at home in front of clients and at swing dances for me.

It is a little tight for my fat ass but the length is good for me (I'm 5'6"). It looks like there is some room in the back and at the vents to let out, maybe a total of two inches, and I will have to have my tailor look at that along with the other usual-suspect type alternations (shorter sleeves, lower the back- need these done on almost all RTW jackets). Ignore the weird bumps on the upper sleeve, they're from the rolled up military-style short sleeves I'm wearing underneath.

What do y'all think (especially you Jamison since you're in a position to know how much it could be let out by)? Should I stick with this or try peddling to see if someone wants to trade a 38? my fear is that A) it fits pretty good in the shoulders, so I don't want to go bigger there, B) 38 is longer, and C) I'm at my fattest in awhile right now due to bulking cycle, will be working on losing 5 lbs or so over the next couple weeks.

I haven't offered them in the past but will have a few styles this fall. Some pretty stellar stuff including a few limited edition pieces in 100% cashmere from Loro Piana and Zegna. That's right.

Later this summer, yes.

Great. Jamison parks on my winter clothes budget in APRIL.

The big problem I have with overcoats from "trendy" sources is that I can't get a pleasing silhouette and still fit a suit jacket underneath. Of course, I can size up, but the armholes are often cut way too small to fit a suit underneath. Will your overcoats cut to accommodate this?

Looks great to me. I'm jealous!

Is it just me or does the buttoning point on all these new sport coats look too high by 3 or 4 inches?

Given that you have a raised arm, and it doesn't look too tight, I think you'll find there is plenty to let out to make it just right.

I think you'll be fine. They're being made to go over jackets, but trim enough that you won't be swimming in it if you wear just a shirt and sweater. A couple of them are going to be extremely soft in the shoulder, which will also help. I think it's five or six styles all together.

As for fall budgets... Yeah, we are going to have a lot of fantastic stuff this fall.

The angle on the photos may be a little low, but they're not that high.

Jamison,
How does 100 percent cashmere hold up in an overcoat?

Any idea if/when there will be a restock Jamison?

Sorry Jamison - just reposting this question as I think it may have gone missed from the previous page.

Can we expect a summer blazer restock later this summer?

No chance on a restock, but there could always be a return.

All depends on the cloth. I have a LP Zegna for Barney's coat myself that has held up very well with heavy use.

Possibly. I'm working on it.

There's a pair of the baby cords in green and navy back in stock.

Any change of a restock soon in the "normal" Navy Blazer?

We'll have more year-round blazers this fall.
