Jamison,

Any ETA on when suits/sportcoats will be in for the Fall? I'm looking for a new suit, but don't want to buy anything until I see what you're offering.

No suits this fall--I decided that there were too many headaches with sizing from the first season, and when we do them in the future I think we'll do them as separates. But jackets will be here early October, with two fabrics arriving mid September.

We're working on the fall preview and should be sending out an email this week. Our first shipment of fall pants are in, but not online yet.

Good call on offering them as seperates. Now if you could bring back the shorter jacket length and offer it with unfinished sleeves...

Will have to replace my size 32 wool twills from last year, post weight gain and all.

One other noteworthy update: when we send out the fall preview, we're going to start taking orders against the first fall shipment of the cognac double monks, and possibly the suede double monks, too. When what we have ordered sells out, it will be possible to order for a later fall delivery, too.

Indeed. Just got my pair of gray linen trousers, and I have to agree with everything Jamison has said. First HY pickup, too. Won't be the last.

Its a shame no suits for the fall, i missed out on the gray herringbone from last year as my size was sold out and was looking forward to what you had to offer this coming season. I'm curious as to why you would stop the suits, it seems like in the end you sold all of them?

This would be super-helpful, for the size Small as well for me. Living in Canada, returns aren't possible, so I want to get the sizing as close to right as I can before pulling the trigger on sweater purchases. Also, are size charts for the new sweaters going up soon?

Please release it this weekend so that I can go on vacation without being feverishly tied to the computer!

Your humble servant,

Yes, flannel is a bit too much in the middle fall months. What else will there be in the next batch?
Are there going to be scarves again? Your scarves are always so nice.

A superb selection you just posted, though, it goes without saying.

I didn't order a wool twill like last fall's. But we do have a number of other things coming. Let's just say that manufacturing in Italy is both a pleasure and an endless headache.

Scarves will be here in September, after the Italian holiday. We'll have a great collection this fall.

Just purchased 400-gramm light gray flannel ones. I'm between sizes and decided to try 32. It usually takes about 5 weeks to get parcel from USA so it will be a long time to know :(

Who makes the shoes for HY? These look nice:

Anybody comment quality?

Noone will say who the manufacturer is but there have been hints.

All you need to know is that they're extremely well priced and by all accounts of good quality. The new pairs will have a channeled sole, which makes them fantastic value.
