Yea, i have no idea why someone would want to go really far out of their way for one. It's not that great but better than other fast food drive through burgers

Indeed they taste great but alas, a trip to the local Steak and Shake does tend to blow the diet for the day!

Loved this place when I lived in Detroit / Grosse Pointe.

Miss them in Arizona.

Of course, I miss White Castle as well.

I never understood the appeal of steak and shake. . . other than the fact that many are 24 hours and located near drinking locations.

I never liked the fries. The burgers were only mediocre. Often, everything seemed greasy. I usually had stomach problems after eating there, no matter what location I tried.

After 4 or 5 times, I gave up on steak and shake and haven't been back to one.

credited things to order: frisco melt spicy chicken chili burgers in general the fries are terrible, but are great when eaten with cheese of course, these are all things that should be eaten post-drinking at 3am. like denny's.
