(LA Guy @ June 13 2005,14:26) This the the picture.  Notice the simultaneously vacant and desperate look in Katie's eyes.  And well, Tom's "laugh" just sends chills down me spine.
I can tell she's silently pleading for me to save her. Girl, lose that zero and get with the hero. I will feed you cheeseburgers every day until you look as good as you used to. Yours anytime, J.
That's right baby. To quote Chuck, Bone is for the Dog, Meat is for the Man. Still, Tom is really freaking me out...

This is getting really hard to believe... Tom Cruise is gay. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

While you're at it, please feed Lindsay Lohan as well.  What happened to her?

I cannot look at a picture of the Tom Cruise Smile without automatically thinking of Ben Stiller impersonating him on Sat Night Live.

Professionally, I really respect Tom Cruise. Here's a guy with severely limited acting range who has managed to sustain a career as an A list movie star for around 20 years. This is no small feat, particularly for a guy who essentially plays himself in every movie he does. On a personal level, he just seems like a weird, weird guy. IMHO, he has allowed the Church of Scientology to manipulate him so he will act as their mouthpiece. If you read interviews with him about his beliefs, he seems to be just spewing forth information that has been drilled into his head by others, rather than thinking for himself. I read the interview with him in last week's Entertainment Weekly. His comments about psychiatry are, in my opinion, laughable (calling it "Nazi Science" and saying things like Carl Jung worked for the Nazis - my understanding is that this has been refuted by reputable sources). The one thing he does say that I have a tendency to agree with is that we might be overmedicating our society to a certain extent (this is not to say that there aren't countless reasons to utilize drugs to assist people with psychological or mental issues). However, most of it just sounds like bunk.

Do we have another Vanilla Ice fan here?
Was this a quote from "Cool as Ice"? If so, nicely done.

Actually, if its a quote from Cool as Ice, it would be "Drop that zero and get with the hero." but it's all semantics.

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes engaged Any bets on whether they'll make it to the altar?  This has "Bennifer" written all over it.

One thing in common with Bennifer; I'm sick of reading/hearing about them. koji

Hmmm... I guess it's a thing, proposing atop the Eiffel Tower. A former student of mine (an American, of course) proposed to his wife there two years ago.
