for forum-purposes, photos like these, outfits like these are celebrated, but in all practicality and my honest opinion,
it just makes one look shallow, all about clothes, and a bit silly. i wouldnt be able to take one seriously dressed like that and i wouldnt expect one to take me seriously if i did.

i guess that's the whole point behind 'dandy' but still.

I love both but love chukkas more. I wear chukkas just about every other day.

actually i just like chukkas better overall, now where are my damn loake kemptons from pediwear I ordered in january!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good elastic will last for many years. I have a pair of chelsea boots from Church's that are 17 -18 years old.

I see. I guess I'm not a big fan of Chuccas then. After seeing some more pictures I think they are too much of a hybrid between a shoe and a boot.

I like chelsea boots in black leather only, and prefer chukka boots in everything else - brown leather/cordovan/suede/whathaveyou. Why I have no idea. I like my chukkas on the sleeker side though. I'm not a fan of the ubiquitous Alden chukkas.

Chelseas have elastic.
Elastic is for bras.

And laces are for corsets, so now we're really screwed.
