Good charity to donate old clothing to?

I have some stuff that I haven't worn during the entire time I've been at my current place (Aug, '07). It's in good-to-excellent condition but not worth selling as there's nothing of note in there.

Any suggestions for where it might do the most good? If not I'll just ask one of the nuns at the hospital.

Bumping this thread.

I have six older suits that I no longer wear (thanks Style Forum!) and would like to donate them to an organization that will put them to good use. I could just dump them in a collection box somewhere, but does anyone know an organization in Boston that would put them to good use.

None of these suits would look out of place in an interview or office. They are Brooks Brothers lower end and HSM for the most part - pretty full cut with pleated pants. Not much value in the secondary market, and generally what just about everybody out there wears.

If your in Chicago, there is a clinic called Howard Brown, which devotes itself to AIDS and other STDS.
They have a couple of resale shops called The Brown Elephant and I think in addition to doing good work most of the money taken in by the shops goes to the clinic.
In addition, the shops attract people who really enjoy good clothing. I bought a Coach belt there and wear it all the time. I'd hate to donate my stuff to someone who wouldn't really value it.

There are certain groups that seek out dress clothing. They give it to needy people who need it for job interviews. I take it down to my local shopping center and they pass it on to them. Sorry I don't recall the name of the charity.
