I wear girls jeans. What's the big deal about it? A lot of the guys at my school make fun of me, but hey, they are so comfortable and they actually fit me. Besides that, I got tired of big, baggy jeans. Mine aren't tight at all, maybe comparable to the less tight wranglers. Plus, all the girls compliment my pants.

There is nothing wrong with wearing girls jeans. I know lots of guys that do it; many are East Village hipsters. With that said, just don't tell anyone you are wearing girls jeans. Why would you give up that info?

Exactly. Somehow, the word got out, which was very odd since I didn't tell anyone that they where. And being in such a small school, word travels fast.

As I mentioned in your prom thread, my best friend wears girl jeans. I tease him for it incessantly, to which he replys "Yes, but I've been blown," and I have to retreat sullenly and console myself with mubmlings that she wasn't very attractive and she was a woman of loose morals and when you get to college women won't fall for your damn sissy style...

The only women jeans that guys should stay away are 1) super low jeans made for women(men needs an additional 2 inches to accommodate the "package" 2) Jeans with really feminine embroidery. Or maybe you should give Unisex type jeans a try and see if they fit you.
Plus, all the girls compliment my pants.
No wonder the guys are hard on you, you get all the attention

I intimidate them with my manliness. Haha. I think a bunch of them think I am gay or atleast metro sexual, but I assure you, I am not. They probably get this idea from me hanging out with girls most them time, and I take a shower every day.

You might be gay, but just don't know it yet. In college is where most guys find out.

Gay people don't bother me at all, but I wouldn't want to be one. Me being from Texas, would probably be disowned.

If such pants make you gay do some suits make you old and boring? Do you also find out that you're old/outdated in college?

So your real problem is Texas not gay/metrosexual jeans with pinstripe jacket and white tie.

May I ask what the advantages of women's jeans are, in other words, what do they have that you can't find in a men's pair? Is there a certain body shape that would fit them better?

If you're really tall and skinny they usually fit better through the thigh, butt, and hips because girls jeans tend to be a slimmer cut. Additionally girl's jeans tend to have a slight flare towards the foot, which looks good over a pair of Asics. As for your conundrum Oddly Familiar, don't worry about it. I have a few friends that rock Sevens, Mavi's, etc. and they look good and a few of them pull in amazingly hot chicks (although I think them being musicians has something to do with it...).

seems like emaciated musicians started the "guys wearing chick jeans" trend. i know it was/is huge in the hardcore scene, wearing girls jeans with the white belt and ****** AFI haircut look

imo it's just another silly 'hipster' trend that will be looked back upon with "what the hell was i thinking" by its wearer

if you need a pair of slim jeans, try the nudie Ola Bootcut. They are low rise, bootcut, slim through the tighs and the butt.
