I have a pair of Marteganis, size 10 US which fit too large as I bought them under the impression that they would fit true to AE sizing.

What would the AE size equivalent be for the #4 and #7?

Florian: #4 is pretty close to AE sizing. #7 might be a bit large compared to AE, see my comment about it being roughly a small 9.5/large9 equivalent.

Martegani sizing can vary pretty wildly due to the last shape, so I do understand where you're coming from.
