Question about wearing crewneck sweaters

Has anyone seen crewneck sweaters being worn "high up" in the front of the shirt (with the neck opening of the sweater covering the upper tip of the "v" opening of the shirt underneath)? Is anyone else a fan of this look? I think this look is rather sharp, but I have not been able to achieve it. Is there a technique to do this or is it just a matter of finding crewneck openings which are snug enough, or having a thick neck?. Unfortunately my sweaters are way too loose at the neck, and they look sloppy when they do not hug the shirt collars snugly. I'm talking about something like this, with the front part of the shirt fully covered by the sweater but the sides and back parts of the shirt exposed:

Can you find a picture of that look on a person, instead of just folded?

I tried to. No success.

I suspect that this "look" is due to the people displaying the clothes for the shoot either beeing sloppy or clueless. This is not a look I see working in the real world. It is IMO impossible to acheive and, to my tastes, not one to be pursued and probably never meant to be. B

Anything that high will create a fold because it will be fighting the curvature of the neck. I have had problems with crewnecks like that before.
