Pleats always (jeans excepted, duh), cuffs almost always -- not for linen summery stuff, eh?

But then, I am oldish, and compared to a lot of you scrawny little fuckers, fattish.

Flat-front only. For some reason pleats, unless they are very small single pleats, make me look ridiculous.

I have a few flat-front pants, but my overwhelming preference is for pleats (forward pleats, in particular).

Despite my tailor's very vocal objections, flat-front and cuffed for me.

It seems as though the late night club was mostly flat front and the early morning club was pleat city....

Back in the eighties, my brother in law got pants that had pleats on the ass.

But then, he is Czech-Canadian.

Pleats with no cuffs on everything. Including jeans.

Pleats are for everyone not just old farts as you put it. I actually see many younger men in my office with pleats. Flat fronts are more trendy I suppose but not as figure flattering on most men. I have notice several who wear the flat fronts and have pulling and rolls in the front of the pants cause them to look ill sized when really all the need is the extra room of the pleats in the front.

I voted flat front, because that is my preference but I'll agree that the single pleat can be very nice. Glad to see it getting some love.

Then you should think of getting a pair of single pleated pants.

I wouldn't say that flat fronts are trendy, they just dont look as shitty and are SLEEK SON.

there's room for both in a wardrobe depending on the look or style you want. even for a young man's modern wardrobe, pleats are necessary.

they will be making a comeback soon. you'll see them on the runways pretty soon, a hip look with a tight /slim top . you'll see it.
