Cloth brush

I cannot find a cloth brush here and when I was in San Francisco last month I tried Neiman Marcus, Saks 5th avenue, Nordstrom and Macy's but all were out of stock. So... what would MacGuyver do? Can a (brand new) shoe brush be used or is it too stiff? Mathieu

Here's a link to Kent clothes brushes (internet store). Mine is the CP6 cashmere brush. They arrive about 10 days after you order them. Horace on this forum recommended them and I agree: http://www.kentbrushes.com/acatalog/Clothes_Care.html

I totally agree with that recommendation. These brushes are high quality and much cheaper than buying from the likes of a high end department store. I own the CG1 and the CP6.

I have the cc20 and the cp6. The cp6 I use for more delicate fabrics. Havent looked back since.

I have the CP6 also, great brush.

I've got the CC20 and am very happy with it. It's a snap to order from the Kent website too (via credit card). They've also got some nice combs -- which I've bought a few of too.

As much as I don't like them, Jos A. Bank has brushes for $25. They're a combo boar cloth brush, lint brush and shoe horn. Probably not the quality of the Kent brushes recommended here, but as we lament here in DC, it'd be good enough for government work.

Cable Car Clothiers has Kent Brushes, but in some instances, you'll pay up to six times the amount for the brush as you would on the Kent site itself.

Another vote here for Kent brushes.
