That was my feeling too. I guess I'm more trying to decide whether I really need a basically solid brown suit. I kind of like it, but I wonder how much I'll wear it.

But I measured it, and it's 31" from the bottom of the collar to the end of the center seam on the back--which is to say, it's a normal size for me, even though I've never owned an L suit in my life. Maybe the more recent BL stuff has gotten even shorter than the early seasons?

Anyway, I'm a bit torn. I now suspect I would have felt that a 44R was too short, but I can't decide whether to keep this.

How tall are you? The Long just barely made it for me in BL (I ended up not taking them) , I'm 6'4.

I think you might find the R too short.

I returned 2- 44L yesterday, not sure if they were scooped up yet, Gray and Blue.

Oooh. Returned them in person? Can you describe them more fully?
An exchange may be in my future. I'm just under 6'.

Do we know for real, however, that you can return this stuff to any RL store? I thought someone else said it had to go back to the outlet?

As I said, I'm undecided on this suit, and I'm open to offers to boot. Just curious.

I asked them about returns today. They said it has to be returned to one of the Ralph Lauren "Luxury" outlet stores (Woodbury, FL, CA)

Ok, I'm hoping my blazer would be in by tomorrow. If I don't like it - it will go on vacation with me in Orlando next week.

I bought them today, but I'm 6'3", so they probably won't work for me either. However, I won't know until they arrive.

Hey, saint, if you decide to let them go, let's talk first, K? tx.

just put a 38/40s up for sale.

The problem wasn't the length of the top, it was the cut of the pants.

It just did not look right on me, too thin a leg.

One is a navy blue with very thin closely spaced pin stripes. The other a charcoal gray.

When I purchased a suit from them, they told me the S/R/L were all the same length. It didn't make sense. I ordered a 40R charcoal and got a 40L black. The other suit they sent was as described so it wasn't a bad deal - I ended up putting it back into a box and mailing it to them with the receipt and tracking. No biggy.

I saw the measurements for your 40s. If my 40s is the same then it should work out for me with some alterations.

thanks
