You want to get good carbs in you, so try out oatmeal without sugar in the mornings and eat your whole grains. Try to split up meals daily, so you have a oatmeal breakfast, a high fiber cereal snack before lunch, a thing of tuna or turkey breast sandwich for lunch, some fruit or something, then chicken breast or something for dinner. Just make sure what you're eating is low in fat and within your daily caloric intake.
But you can't go wrong with oatmeal and tuna.
