These kinds of threads are good ways to round up all the losers

I've read it. Don't know if that makes me a loser or not, but it was fun to read.

I'd think some of the techniques could be useful if I were single.

It did lead me to Influence by Robert Cialdini who ended up being one of the profs at my grad school and although I didn't have him for a class, I did drop the name of his book in my entrance essay.

Ive read it. Its a good story but I find that whole scene to be so so lame. It does have some good pointers though. It created a lot of shitty spin offs that, yes, I have read as well. A book thats better than the game is called irrestible attraction. Its not about PUAs but more so how to present yourself and express confidence. This is a good buy for tips. The game is a good buy for an interesting story of transformation.

Like Matt, I think there's some useful stuff in there (probably. I haven't read the book, but another one from the same genre). Social interactions, social psychology, whatever. I think it's hilarious that a bunch of dudes who get together to tell each other what to wear stick up their noses at a bunch of dudes who get together to tell each other how to talk to girls.

I read it. Some of the things they do are difficult to believe.

hahaha. Nice.

I read it. I read lots of things - especially anything I can learn from and use. And some of the things referred to in that book are dead on accurate. I've got plenty of examples to prove it.

I think the only reason some of us read it was to see what everyone was bitching about regarding "the game". While I thought most of it was either common sense or just plain ridiculous, I still found it entertaining.

Started reading it, thought it was amusing. What fascinates me is how PUA's basically treat women as disposable. Meet, greet, make your mark, leave. This gets old real fast, I'd imagine, I'd rather try a little harder for the lasting relationships, but I guess the lifestyle isn't really aimed at guys like me.

All that said, lots of interesting ideas on how to strike up conversations, and interesting from a psychological standpoint.
