Inherited a lot of it, so that is all we use. If used daily, rarely requires polish. But you can't put into the dishwasher, it dulls the shine.

Whenever we have people over for dinner - or for special occasions. Otherwise it is stainless steel all the way

Use it for any special holiday meal or when the associated formality suits the gathering. We used it heavily just last Saturday for a multi-course meal with visiting family.

Silverware almost every night. Serving pieces less often.

plastic pieces from the to-go joint. or I eat food I can eat with my hands (pizza, sandwiches, fried chicken, pancakes and syrup, scrambled eggs, etc.)
