Is it unlined?

It's unlined, untipped and unrolled... it's the tie equivalent of a woman wearing only a cashmere sheath.

Ah, thank you. I will check later if I have some pictures. I always bring my camera, but usually end up taking pictures of fabric samples, buttons et cetera in stead of the store itself.

I think he has plans for online selling. I will report when I know more. (Yes, Dutch.)

That disqualifies it as soporific, I guess.

It's hilarious that all of us are getting worked up by a tie that is truly soporific when worn -- it's just a solid cashmere tie -- and that the most remarkable feature is only visible on the back, which is not visible.

QFT, +1

However, I believe that this is what SF is all about. I think part of the pleasure about wearing well made soporific ties and even clothes is knowing that only the most discerning person will recognize the quality of your garments and accessories. Also, I believe that we can truly appreciate that a tie of this caliber is almost a work of art.

Perhaps not coma-inducing, these are pretty boring nonetheless...

It's probably the personality of the wearer that truly renders a tie "soporific", or not

I was referring to every tie in this thread not just yours. I am certain that when you wear a tie, it's personality overwhelms. Where is there a pink stripe? That looks white on this monitor.
