I was supposed to talk with Raan, ended up talking with Shea, and completely forgot. I'll shot them an email now. Thanks for reminding me.

Anyone know if Bloomingdales or American Rag in SF has the navy pullover? Wanna try it on before I buy.

CONTEXT will have the ApolisxKatin Boardshorts in two colorways. The first is on the way to us now. We'll post when they arrive.

Sam's right. Shea said he shipped the shorts out this week so we should be seeing them available soon. In the meantime, here's a nice little story behind the collab:
Quote:
- KATIN STORY - My brothers and I grew up surfing in Santa Barbara and our dad gave us our first pair of Katin boardshorts while telling us we would never need another. In the late 1950's Nancy and Walter Katin were in the business of making boat covers. In 1959 they were commissioned to produce a swim trunk that would stand up to the durability of California waterman. The swim trunks were a huge success and became the uniform for watermen worldwide. For Katin's 50th Anniversary we approached them with the concept of a boutique capsule for the fashion market. We used their archive patterns and have chosen four classic colors from the sixties.

Yes, and Farinelli's carries a few.

Yeah, I saw Mauro carried the Invisible Children tee from last fall. Guess I was wondering what they have now. EDIT: Just noticed the Solidarity tee. Cool.

Has anyone tried on the Cadet Sweater? I'm interested in how it fits as I have never tried on an Apolis knit.

Me as well. Has anyone seen photos other than the Apolis lookbook and Context?

For those of you in LA, you might want to keep this Saturday free: Say hi to the Partons for me.

Can anyone proxy for Apolis stuff who is in the LA area?

Anyone here own the Cadet sweater? I'm looking ahead and thinking about a more casual sweater for the fall. The Cadet looks versatile yet distinct because of the elbow patches and pockets. Obviously you know why Apolis gear carries a higher price tag, but I'm still trying to justify dropping $300 on a zip sweater, much as I dig it.
