Vass does not size its shoes in US sizes - you need to know your EU size in the specific last you picked. If you let someone else decide what size you may be, don't be surprised if it does not fit.

No, I'm not pulling your leg. I ordered a EU 40.5 and I got a 41.5. I was using US sizes for simplicity's sake.

That makes more sense. Another Vass QC issue.... there's a thread full of these

I bought two pairs from Tom, and they came out just the way I wanted them. Tom's not looking to run this as a full-time business, as he's online that much any more, it appears.

Yes.

Ok. I am still waiting for him to complete my order.

Don't be surprised. I've oredered directly from the store and my latest MTO pair came with a very poor stitching.
It looks like they have some new people or perhaps they let apprentice do some MTO overflow orders.
All my orders from years back were always perfect, so this is a new development at VASS, imho.

Does anyone thinks it is worth it to forward this thread to Eva ? Should we let them know that their quality is slipping?

She knows it. Supposedly, won't happen again.

Let us know how it turns out. I am sure a few people (including me) are "quite" eager to sort things out with him.

It was an order I placed in Feb this year. A pair of shoes and 2 belts. Got the shoes (a whole different story btw), I am still waiting for the belts. Paid everything up front. Vass apparently outsource his belt production..... could be a lengthy delay, but I didn't expect to take this long. I have not heard from Tom either.

dude, Tom is not in budapest anymore... I'd contact him and try and get this sorted, sooner than later... who knows what the deal is with Vass and their belts. Obviously, Vass is best to deal with in person, and even then, it is not easy...

Yeah, I know. Tom is moving between continents. I have sent them numerous follow ups. His replies were very sporadic (for the lack of a better word). I know he was only doing a favor for everyone here and some members were satisfied with his service. I don't want to wrongfully accuse him of taking my $$ and not completing his side of the transaction. Perhaps I will liaise with VASS again.
