FTFY means fixed that for you. You didn't fix it - you left it the same. So no.

What did you fix?

Sorry, I thought it meant "F*ck that for you." Which I thought meant, "I heard that!" or "Word."

I'm trying to gauge their shipment with my travels.

So I recieved my Vass shoes today. What a beauty! Unfortuatly, its 3 sizes too big; what a terrible disappointment. I have no idea what went wrong. I can't seem to get any response from Tom as to what my best option would be. In these circumstances, should I take the initiative to sell the shoes and recoup my losses or pursue Tom/Vass for some sort of reconcilation?

Benjamin: You should sell the shoes and recoup your losses. Did you get what you ordered and they don't fit? If so, then you have no other option.

I'm considering selling it, but the problem is I have no idea what size these shoes are since there aren't any indication of it. The shoes are Vass MTO using a set of measurements measured by a local shoemaker and cross-verified by me. Somehow, those figures failed to translate into the last that made this gigantic pair of shoes. I have tiny feet (US 6) but these shoes are probably US 9 or 10. This is the form I sent Tom for my order:

How could US size 6 ever have a 11+ in heel?

Actually it does, if you use the line of measurement indicated by the diagram.

your measurements are/were correct. i checked with a shoe i have at hand here.

unfortunately it's not what you are looking for and it is slightly used, very slightly.

a black half brogue oxford in french calf.

but back to your topic. they should exchange it on their/tom's expenses and everybody is happy.

just my two cents.

I bet you could find a buyer here for what you paid. Those are beautiful shoes. Only problem is you need the accurately reflect the size so people can make a decision on whether to buy. I'd be willing to purchase if they were my size.
