Vass shoes direct from Budapest - Page 11

My Vass R last Norweger shoes arrived yesterday in Chicago. They are truly a masterpiece! Tom certainly has a repeat customer! My compliments to Tom for a great deal, and very fast shipping. I will post photos later on, as I too am without a camera at the moment.

Red cognac. Darker IRL than shown in the first two shots (taken with flash obviously). They are just what I was after.

I think they look great; enjoy! I ordered mine in dark cognac.

Tom: I sent you an email regarding shipping a pair of Vass boots for me..
I just got my first pair of Vass U lasted shoes through Tom and I love them. I can't believe how fast the shipping was (three days to ATL). I put in an order for a pair of F lasted shoes today and I am following the advice of others to size down by a half size.

To others out there with bigger feet, I wear a size US 12D in pretty much every shoe. 11.5E UK on Edward Green 888 and 82, and 11E in John Lobb 8000 and 7000 lasts.

I ordered the 46 on the U last and it fits fine.

Also Tom was a real pleasure to do business with. He kept me updated throughout the process and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a source of Vass shoe at the moment.

Yep, it's on the U.

I don't have particularly wide feet; indeed I think it's pretty much accepted the U isn't a great fit for wider feet. I wear a fairly small size (41) so the shoe may not appear as 'elongated' as it does on larger sizes which in turn might suggest a larger width / length proportion, if that makes any sense (haven't had my first coffee yet).

Sorry to bump this thread. Has anyone tried to contact Tom lately? I have been trying to reach him and have had no luck.

I spoke with him via email about a week ago but not since then.

I just bought a pair of shoes from him, and was emailing with him yesterday. He's around.
