Hmm. The wooden knobs looked rather old school, but I thought they were a nice quirk.

Am I too late to place an order? Thanks in advance.

U last austerity brogue, black high polish, double sole tapering to single at waist, seamless heels, steel toe taps, welt cut closer a la Sartort. The new shoe trees are unvarnished and come with metal knobs. They look much sharper than my EG Beaulieu! Tom was a pleasure to deal with. Shipping via TNT took only 4 days. Thanks, Tom!

Have mercy! And to think I didn't really have an affection for black shoes.

Looks great. I just got my pair as well and couldn't be happier.

I got a pair of Bordeaux F last Wholecuts! I would take pics but I am camera-less at this point.

THANKS TOM!

Let me heap on the praise for Vass and Tom / tiger02, who made this possible. Just picked up my U last Budapest Oxfords in cognac tonight (they actually arrived at my office earlier in the week...in three bus. days from Hungary).

Thanks again, Tom. A real pleasure dealing with you. And darkoak's austerity brogues already have me thinking of the next round....

Tiger do you ship regular mail? It seems your clients don't get hit with duties.....
Good job...

Tom shipped my black Budapests on April 2nd (a Thursday), and they were delivered on April 6th (a Monday). Two business days - you can't get better than that, and it was easy to track the shipment online.

The shoes look great (Budapests are much less bulky looking in person - the sole is substantial, but it doesn't jut out from the sides the way that it does on Aldens). They also seem to fit my weird feet well. Great value for the money, also.
