Well- my answer may be yes... having Just Monday tucked a light-colored shirt in my first ever selvedge jeans (what was I thinking???)

I assume I would. But I think it would greatly depend on what I was wearing and how formally I was dressing up. It shouldn't make a difference, as long as the stain or what have you can't be seen, but the distinction still exists in my head. Oh, my mood would affect the decision also. The fact that I rarely throw things out helps me avoid having an iron-clad rule here.

I'm wearing an OCBD with no collar button under a sweater. The lack of button is visible, but I think it's sort of cool and minimal! Who needs a collar button if I don't wear a tie?

Yeah me too. But not THAT kind. I thought it was gonna be about wearing your high school prom tux to a black tie event in your mid thirties.
