Have You Costanza'd? - Page 3

Well- my answer may be yes... having Just Monday tucked a light-colored shirt in my first ever selvedge jeans (what was I thinking???)

I assume I would. But I think it would greatly depend on what I was wearing and how formally I was dressing up. It shouldn't make a difference, as long as the stain or what have you can't be seen, but the distinction still exists in my head. Oh, my mood would affect the decision also. The fact that I rarely throw things out helps me avoid having an iron-clad rule here.

I have not but after reading this thread I just may. I'd walk around all day smiling and remembering Seinfeld episodes

I have.

I'm wearing an OCBD with no collar button under a sweater. The lack of button is visible, but I think it's sort of cool and minimal! Who needs a collar button if I don't wear a tie?

Yeah me too. But not THAT kind. I thought it was gonna be about wearing your high school prom tux to a black tie event in your mid thirties.

Great thread revival. I had forgotten about this. Clearly I need to spend more time on styleforum.

I thought this thread was going to be about eating out of the trash.

George Constanza to me seemed to have a nice dress style which personified the 90's.

At my college a frayed oxford cloth collar was a high status symbol.
It implied that one had been wearing Ivy (Preppie) clothes long
before college.
