Did you ever pay a friend to eat gross stuff?

I remember in gradeschool, after most people had eaten what they wanted of lunches, sometimes we would find something gross. Occasionally we would mix it with other gross stuff, and then take up a collection (sometimes up to $5 ) and pay someone to eat it. There was one guy in particular, Kyle, who would usually eat one bite of whatever we made. I don't think he ever threw up either.

Other kids did that too, right

I'm not going to lie...I thought you would be the person to eat the leftovers and take the cash, Conne.

I don't think I ever did, I am very neurotic about that sort of stuff.

There was one kid that seemed to have no boundaries for that stuff. One day I offered him a quarter to eat a napkin. He did it.

Another kid offered him another quarter to eat a sheet of paper. He did it.

I can't remember what else we got him to eat. The paper and the napkin still stand out in my mind though.

Touche.

In grad school it was who would drink a swig from the beercan with cigarette butts in it.

In 5th grade some kids I knew got in trouble for snorting lines of salt at lunch.

A buddy of mine ate a drinking glass at a restaurant one evening. For $5.00 iirc.

A friend of mine paid another $20 to chug the syrup container at Denny's once. The stuff at the bottom didn't look too fresh.

There was a kid in my high school who would lick the sole of your shoe front to back for a quarter. He really went all out, too....there'd be a damn racing stripe down the middle of your shoe when he was done with it.

Hell I'm the one who gets paid to eat weird things. Live insects are my specialty and I have been paid several hundred dollars to eat them. Wilderness survival training does have it's advantages.

This should be the official American pastime, I feel.

I bet one of my friends $30 that he couldn't drink 12 oz of extra virgin olive oil. I lost; he chugged it straight out of the bottle in under 10 secs.

I've paid people to ingest various nasty things in various nasty bars.

Also paid a roommate $20 to crawl into a nasty piss stained dog cage. Told him it was ust for a second, but of course once he was in I locked it and left him in there for a few beers. By the time I let him out he was so cramped he couldnt straighten out for a while.
