After graduating from New England School of Photography she put it to practice as a portrait photographer"”her work has appeared on book jackets, CD covers, magazines and a book cover.

She is now branching into more textural and metaphoric images with her photos of metal and wood grown old with time and hard use"”lives of utility. These are the subjects of this show.

Wow, that's pretty nice. Donegal Tweed? I suppose there are flecks of color in wool? If so, could you take a detailed photo Gary?

David,

I was sure that there was going to be flecks of color as I thought I remember seeing it that way but no flecks. This a solid navy whipcord fabric. Still very nice and I'm sure it won't last very long with outerwear sales being better than they have ever been and it hasn't even been that cold. I guess our selections are speaking to masses.

Gary,

Nice shots of Drinkwaters' storefront and interior during the segment on the Tufts acapella group during "The Sing-off" on NBC. But you gotta have those kids tuck in their shirts if they're gonna wear vests and blazers ...

Thank you! We were very fortunate to be chosen for their back story. We had a two hour photo shoot in the store, they performed for us and we had a lot of fun that day. There will probably be more of them in the store if they keep moving along in the competition.
In regards to there selection of clothing for the show and how they are wearing it, we had no involvement with that aspect. My absolute dismay was seeing the host (Lachey) all buttoned up and looking like a sausage. He desparately needs a Drinkwater's makeover to get his wardrobe straight.
I'm kinda getting tired of the untuck thing. I wish more would learn how to tuck properly and show off some of their waistline and the great belts they own. Bubbs all the way!!!

FYI

Tomorrow we will be posting images of our new Drinkwater's Chambray Shirt collection. The first three colors we will be Blue, Red and Grey. This will be the beginning of a series of SW&D fits and fabrics especially made for us in the USA (Here in Massachusetts). This shirt is going to be a must have and will be an exclusive. Stay tuned!

Introducing the new Drinkwater's shirt. We are aware that the fit picture is not that great and I was only able to try on a sample in a size medium and I usually wear a large. We will post better pictures when these arrive in about 2 1/2 weeks. The first arrival will be a Blue Chambray fabric made in Japan and Red and Grey will follow soon after. The additional selections will be Blue and White Oxford Cloth that will be in store the first week in March. The details are a classic expression with a SW&D direction. All shirts will be button down(red shown for color and fabric) one breast pocket, box pleat w/ locker loop and contrasting stitch. The sizes for now will be S>XL (see chart below) The price will be $125.00. We will accept pre-orders.
