Stitching is bad - read up on the BoO threads. Most people have this problem eventually. Some people have gotten replacement buttons directly by contacting the guys at BoO. My personal suggestion is to take it to your tailor and have them replace or just reinforce the buttons.

Reinforcing buttons is an easy task that anyone can do themselves, I do it whenever I get a shirt and the buttons do not appear to be sewn on too nicely.

Huh? Bad stitching on a shirt that costs $200+? This doesn't make sense to me. I know people pay for the fit, but at that price point I'd expect the damn buttons to stay on.

Yep... the buttons are machined on it seems, and they are done very poorly. When I received my BoO shirts, I just reinforced all the buttons on my own (actually, I undo all the buttons and sew them back on... as opposed to just stitching around the thread that is already there).

The button problems on BoO are pretty bad... it's quite depressing knowing the cost of the shirt. And the fact that I don't have any problems with buttons on shirts that cost ~10x less.

I might be looking to buy another pair of the BoOxSperry boat boots from someone if they're thinking of returning.

Size 11.5 maybe 12. Specifically I'd like the green nylon, but might be open to others. Already got the brown leather.

yes... I normally wear 11 in Paul Smith, Common Projects, MOMA, Converse and the low boat shoes fit in that size but the boots in 11 are a tad too small. I called today and ordered the brown leather boot in 11.5 and hope it fits.

Just nabbed a small plum stripe OCBD off the waiting list. Niiiiiiiiice.

I think I'm gonna sell my tan oxford small, if i gain any weight or it shrinks any im gonna be popping the chest buttons

^Oh? What does the tan color look like? If it's a greyish tan, consider me interested...
