Don't think about it too hard, mine will probably give you a headache.

Wouldn't ever want to eat myself to death. It's just that my week in Nice was transformative, and you always hear these stories about the best of the best of the best chefs going to France/Europe and taking food tours and coming back completely different, inspired people. Plus, it'd just be cool traveling around that much.

Good speakers last a lifetime, until you get sick of them and want something new. I haven't actually listened to the Amanti's, but i've read great things about them. i have heard the Cremona's, and they were quite nice, but not in an ideal environment with matching equipment. I didn't get to give them a serious listen.

Having said that, I'd never actually spend the 27k on any piece of audio equipment without giving it a serious audition. What I have listened to and absolutely loved were the B&W 802Ds paired with a McIntosh sound system. The sound produced by that combo was magnificent, and the 802Ds are a more affordle 12-13k/pair. Sonus Faber's stuff is just beautiful though. I admit that I like eye candy.

+1. This show is amazing, and Claudia Bassols is . Gwyneth is pretty cool too, though I remember one segment where she wouldn't eat the quail, pigeon, or chicken because it was grilled medium instead of well-done.

Hmm, I can't even answer the question. Hermès custom luggage maybe but I passed on some at a far better deal than that, airports rough my stuff up like bitches so I stick to LV or duffle bags.
