My pair were marked 12.5C & were tight in the toe area which is why I asked the OP for a 13D. So for the person who wants to get a slightly bigger size than he is i.e. 10.5D buying a 10.5E I say go for it.
I think it was RunningBeagle that bought my pair. Not sure what size he is or how this fit him.
The other way around, I would say no.
I am about a 12.28, and yours fit me, albeit snugly - the V doesn't close over the instep, and the forefoot is snug. That said, they aren't uncomfortable.
