So here is the deal. This suit was purchased on 1/06/2009 from Ralph Lauren store while they were having the sale. It was marked down to $1199.00 then some percentage off. I ended up paying a total of $574.30. It is new, it has been tried on a few times and was purchased in contemplation of my internship this semester (I am a 2L student). However, upon arriving at my internship I was surprised to find out it is business casual (no suit, no tie) everyone is in khakis. I havent tried to return it yet, but I am pretty sure sale items are like 15 or 30 day.

So here it is, still have receipt, all tags, and little pouch that has the extra buttons/thread. For the pants, I had them tailored at Jacks here in Boston (do a search, he is discussed with a bit on here and is the most recommended tailor in Boston). They were hemmed and the seat brought in a tad (RLBL pants are known for having a baggy ass). This job cost me $68.00, so my total expense on this suit is $642.30.

I have no need for a suit right now and a big need for funds. Selling for an even $588.00. Just covering cost of suit and a bit of the shipping, I am giving whoever buys it a free tailoring job on the pants!

inseam is about 30" with almost 3" to be let out. Outseam is about 39.8". For reference, I am about 6'-6'1" tall.

I believe so, prob. not if the jacket has been altered but I have returned stuff there before after altering pants. They have always been very good about doing returns.

Yes and mine is about $120 less than Gilt and has had $70 worth of professional tailoring on the pants. I'll get those measurements for you tonight when I get home from work. Are you asking if the suit runs small? I wouldnt say small, I would say slim (but no where enar Dior slim). I wear a 42R in Gucci (newer gucci), 41r in Prada, 40R in zegna, 42r in 2 button Etro, and a 42r in this. Also pants are adjustable in the waist because all RLBL have waist tabs instead of belt loops.

These are approx. measurements give or take a bit

Chest=43.25"
Shoulders=18.5"
Pant waist= 17.5" (but as mentioned above the waist is adjustable because of the side tabs so I am not sure how accurate this measurement is and/or how much they can be adjusted via the tabs. I would guess a few inches tighter maybe)

haha, I know, well in my mind it is. Obvi. you have to get your pants hemmed on a new suit (these are already done on my dime) and a common thread with RLBL suit pants is that the ass area is very very saggy and almost always needs a bit of touching up (again already done on my dime)...plus it was done at a very well known and highly rated tailor (not some hack)
