In the spirit of posting new brands, I am going to suggest that you get some S2VS shirts (you can get them at Oak, S2VS does good basics and layering pieces) and that you get a jacket from Kiminori Morishita - the man is god with washes, and washed leather in particular.

Argh. The hoodie can be found at Villains Vault in SF, (www.villainssf.com) and at Ron Herman (www.ronherman.com).

S2VS - Get this: http://www.oaknyc.com/men/shop-by-br...-faced-militar
It is a pretty small collection - the brand is nearly brand new.

Kiminori Morishita is awesome. Learn it.

I'm looking for jackets.

Something extremely basic, cotton, not cropped and slim fitting (especially in the arms). I don't really have anything to recommend to LA Guy. Kodiak look at S2A and KZO for interesting hoodies.

That shirt does look wonderful, though I've learned not to trust Oak's photography.

Kodiak, Chronicles of Never should be right up your ally, as should Fifth Avenue Shoe Repair and some Hood By Air...

The brand (S2VS) is new, and the collection is not without its problems, but the materials are really interesting.

That one is tricky to parse. I'm gonna guess he means slim fitting, but not cropped. APC usually has very basic, slim fitting cotton jackets for spring. I remember seeing something on BS recently.

This is true.

What I'm looking for:

basic cotton in either navy, grey or khaki
NOT cropped (too many jackets this season are just too ******* short in the back, ie: WWM, EG, some of the NC, APC)
slim fitting, especially in the arms
