Duke vs UNC thread

Who is watching the game?

UNC is pwning in the first half of the first half (cause I know if I say quarter someone will say the play halves). UNC is much faster but missing more shots and the rebounds.

Will be a fun one to watch.

If not for Duke, I would have never picked up a basketball. I love Duke. It's irrational, but there all the same.
UNC is so inconsistent. It's really crazy.

And so it begins. Duke 40, UNC 34.

Although my last sports thread I called the game for the Rays and we lost in humiliating fashion. I am leaving this thread for good.

Hansborough just got an elbow in his face.

I tell you, he's gotten a lot of shots on his face in this rivalry. I mean, he's taken a lot on his face.... It's like...

Tyler hasn't gotten nearly as many calls as it seemed he did last year. When UNC played us (FSU), he was a nonfactor after picking up three early fouls. There were a handful of times where he was fouled and there was no call.

Duke is way too reliant on the outside shot. I predict an early exit from the tournament.

Carolina is just way to talented--the better team won in the end. Duke is not going past the sweet 16 this year. College Basketball is too deep.

Last night's game proved that Lawson, not Hansbrough, is UNC's most important player. He completely took over the game the second half. If UNC is hitting the outside shot, they are very, very difficult to beat.
