as much as i love wings+horns and feel like supporting a local designer, i really don't get the pricing scheme (they are like 700ish?) i can buy a pair of lightly used CCPs/Carpes/Guidis for the price. would deff purchase if they were like 400ish
The daytons seem like pretty solid quality wise. The other shoes you mentioned have pretty different shapes too. Most carpe diem boots are an acquired taste as not everyone is going to like the bulbous toe. Personally, the shape of the wh x dayton boots are absolutely perfect for me. That means a lot to me.

Good luck. I doubt those are even coming out until fall and even then, now that people like cd are gone they're going to be even harder to get at retail, let alone come sales season.
these boots are clearly unique and I haven't been able to find anything comparable to them. the slimness while maintaining an "army" vibe and the general profile is one-of-a-kind... that said: 750 bucks for these just seems batshit insane. to the casual eye they just look like a pair of beat up boots. i don't think i could wear these without getting mocked by my friends. i'd be embarrassed if anyone found out how much they were. they won't be around come sale time, i know. but shit man. that's a lot of money for weathered boots.

Is there pics from anywhere of the service boots actually being worn by someone? I've already seen tons of pictures of the boots thenselves from various sellers, but none on them on a foot. They're always so curled up.
