Favre is retiring - Page 2

The reality is that the Jets are going to be built around a defensive smashmouth football. They dont need some all-pro qb. get a game manager qb, get a beast of a fullback/lead blocker... and spend the rest of money on defense. This is Rex Ryan style.. aka Defense Wins. Maybe they should get Jeff Garcia? Draft a huge nose tackle (jenkins cant play all game), cornerback, outside linebacker and a big burly defensive end.... sign Ray Lewis and repeat after me.. Championship!!!!

Can I hear an "amen?!" Couldn't agree more. THough it was exciting to have Favre around, he should have stayed retired the first time. ESPN was kicking around Byron Leftwich as a possible QB...don't know how I feel about that. Garcia can hustle his ass off, but he's yesterday's news. Gang Green doesn't need another retread.

Chat pennington come back! It was only a fling, it didn't mean anything to us. You're where our heart is! I was just hung over from 2 seasons ago and always had a crush on that hall of famer. It was a mistake. Forgive us Chad! It was only one season!
