Simple sure but everything about that look is pretentious from the haircut to the v-neck t-shirt with a peak-lapel velvet sports coat, collar popped in the middle of the afternoon. I'm not uncertain that that's not even a woman's jacket. Look at how odd the buttons are.

Doesnt anyone get inspiration anymore from things besides photos of other people? surely pics of other people arent the only things that inspire the way you dress, because that would be sad if that is true. Personal style and fashion should be about how you interpret your inspirations and life experiences, and not necessarily about mimicking others... jet's answer was the only one i could identify with...

Who wants to hear about how a bunch of narcissistic teenagers interpret their "inspirations and life experiences"? Pictures of clothes trump that any day.

I've always been fairly inspired by film. Mid-career Fellini probably more than anything else. Antonioni too. And the Indiana Jones films. I love the period clothes in those.
