Etienne took me some place really good. Friendly little local place. Completely forgot the name....
he paid for the dinner, I paid for the sex afterwards. I am pretty sure he came out ahead.
So me and Mrs Smart are going to Paris at end of March with my folks as a "Happy 80th Bday Dad" trip
Guy Savoy Gagnaire Robuchon Ducasse None will dissapoint you.
If you're going for the obvious, you might as well add Le Cinq to the list.

Damnit man, I'm trying to get my personal favourites confidential here
Why is it not obvious? Because like the rest on the list it has 3 Michelin stars and the highest Zagat rating in Paris (all those are on Top Foods list w/ 28)? Or because you've never been there?

There's a difference between tried french classics and something on the cutting edge like Gagnaire. He's the only French chef whose name is spoken in the same breath as Blumenthal and Adria, and it's for a reason. Also keep in mind that for many people Zagat is a total joke, and there can be a gulf as wide as the marianas trench between any two given 3 Star establishments.
