I disagree with eyebrows. My sister pieced her eyebrow twice and both times it eventually grew out and now she has a small scar on her eyebrow where the hair won't grow.

X2. If you look closely you can see the scar / mark where my eyebrow was pierced for all of one month.

Pierced ear in 1987-- wore a stud in it until 90 or 91. Have not had one in since, but can still put one in if I wanted to.

How do people end up fucking up their ears and getting infections in the spots where they pierce em? Sloppy pierce job?

For the first few weeks after piercing you're supposed to clean it out every so often. If you forget or are not thorough enough, you can easily get an infection. The area is very sensitive in this period and getting infected is quite common. It's not big deal as long as you keep cleaning it though. It will usually pass.

Hm.. Maybe I'm confusing infection with discomfort. It's been so many years since I pierced my ear, so I don't really remember all the details. I remember having some irritation in the beginning, but not sure if there was actually ever any infection.

I had an anti-tragus done twice in the same ear, there's no visible hole or mark that I can see.

Clip-ons are a rather different look than that most people getting pierced are going for. But I can't imagine getting anything above the neck pierced again - I miss the days when I could dye my hair blood red and get piercings on a whim. Although, ironically, I'm just now getting to the point in life where I feel comfortable with the possibility of forearm sleeves...

Did it for two years. One year later, and you can't notice. There's no hole at all, maybe a depression. The elastic cartilage (connective tissue) heals slower than the squamous cells so it may take a while before it returns to normal.

I tried this 15 years ago and the earring in for about 1 year. hole grew in and looks like I have little freckle on my ear.
