Reason for making this thread is so that you people who like to piss all over each other can post your credentials up here so that the rest of us that don't know you can get some background info on you....I know that Noir has already posted up what he is all about in his Ask a Fitness Model thread, but for the rest of you, many of us have no clue.

In other words, why should we give credence to what you have to offer regarding fitness advice?

I lost 70lbs of fat in 6 months once with running, lifting and dieting, and I'm skinny and kind of strong now.

edit: wrote '5', meant '6'

As OP you should probably let us know your credentials. Not being an ass, but if you ask others, you should probably mention your own.

Also, I don't know if the people who have the strongest opinions are going to weigh in. Though I wish they would.

For myself: I was a collegiate rower and briefly played collegiate tennis, with a lot of time spent on the Open level of tennis. I've competed in pretty much every sport under the sun (except for baseball). I guess I am a jack of all trades, master of none. I can give broad advice, but nothing really specific when it comes to the science... know the basics of weight training and nutrition.

Currently a very avid rock climber, 5.10d-5.11a on a good day. Also a competitive adventure/trail runner.

So no technical creds for me. But as things go I have a wide background in sports.

weight training for 9 years.
bachelor of science in biomed
final year of medicine
quite interested in sports med

i think i've learnt more about fitness / training from my personal interest leading me to read decent journals / articles than from any certified course / degree. if anything it's made me realise how insignificant my knowledge is compared to a sports med physician.

used to be fat as a kid, finally worked it off after 5 years of hard work around freshman year of college, and got me interested in fitness. Lifted for about 6-7 years, done Muay Thai and wrestling for about 5 years as well.

Bachleors in Exercise science
worked in cardiac rehabilitation for 6 months as an exercise specialist/ekgs, rehabiliting people, etc
worked as a personal trainer at the biggest health club in the US for a year, most of my clients were members of a medically supervised lifestyle change program that helped totally transform their bodies and lives.
NSCA-CPT/ and NSCA CSCS
also have a better body than beasty

Just give it a rest and don't be a baby OK.

I have already tried to be conciliatory but you insist on being involved in this pissing contest. If you insist you have a better body, so be it, although I don't know what is your criteria for a better body.

But having seen your pic, I know my body is better. But your fragile male ego would probably never accept it.

BTW what is Bachelors in Exercise Science? Is that the same as a garbage man being called a sanitation and hygiene specialist? I see this vision of your community college being a party school 24/7.

You either have something to hide or nothing to show. There's only one person here with a fragile ego and who can't resist a troll, and it's not me.

If I am conciliatory, how can I be roids?
I didnt demean Eason because he went to CC.
In fact you would note I go out of the way to assist him.
God! How my efforts are constantly misinterpreted!
