Odd. It has sound on my computer; it might be a codec issue. I can try to convert it to another format, like divx, later on today.

The best part of the episode was the pho segment. Closely followed by the Chang segment. Also, to the Jose Andres fan earlier, Oyamel is my favorite of his restaurants and that beef tongue taco that they have in the episode is outstanding.

As is the confit of pig with tomatillio and pork rinds. Oyamel has been a favorite of mine since my first dinner at the old location next to Jaleo in Crystal City, I just can't get enough of the place. I drink 4 or 5 Ron Cooper Margaritas and order half the menu every time in there.

A divx version.

If that doesn't work, then you'll have to get the divx player or find an appropriate audio/video codec to play that file or the original MOV file.

The torrent is out...

I think Anthony Bourdain is a top class nerd.

Where are the torrents for these shows?

I can't work my DVDR tivo thing and I'd rather be able to watch these as I travel. No reservations is one of the only food shows I've seen very little of.

Thanks

I got mine off the major ones, thepiratebay and mininova. There's only a few out there, but they were fully seeded when I downloaded them about 2 months ago.

youtube's got some episodes, if you have the travel channel, they been running a lot of NR. Seems like its one of their most popular shows. Everytime I turn on the tv its on.

O shit it's just on the travel channel? I didn't know that. I watched the FL episode and Bourdain actually started to annoy me a little. The gushing, I'm hoping, was purely aimed at people who aren't really that into food. I mean, the man was sitting right next to Eric Ripert and was acting like he was experiencing something from another world. The French Laundry is definitely one of the best restaurants in the united states, but to me it kind of sends the wrong message, that it's the only place to go. I mean, it was a little weird with Eric Ripert being right beside him, but that's just me maybe. Also, the fact that he'd never seen a chef or heard of a chef going direct to source for produce is a bit alarming, as was his assertion that he hates vegetables. I know there's a number of people in food who think he's a bit of a philistine but I thought that was because he just likes to have the kind of fun most of those stuck up people frown upon but that was probably my largest dosage of watching him and I have to say that it kind of surprised me. I always used to mix him up with Alton Brown... I'm terrible with names.
